The Washington County Free Library invites you to our Summer Film Series, "Memoirs On-Screen". Each week throughout the summer, we'll be showing a different film based on a popular memoir. Reading the book is encouraged, but not required!
This week's film is "All The President's Men", starring Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman, based on the memoir by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein. In 1973, two Washington Post reporters investigate the botched burglary of the Democratic Party headquarters at the Watergate building. With the help of a mysterious source, code-named "Deep Throat", they uncover a connection between the burglars and the White House, leading to the eventual resignation of President Richard Nixon.
This film is rated PG. Registration is not required. Water and light refreshments will be provided.
