The Washington County Free Library invites you to our Summer Film Series, "Memoirs On-Screen". Each week throughout the summer, we'll be showing a different film based on a popular memoir. Reading the book is encouraged, but not required!
This week's film is "Eat, Pray, Love", starring Julia Roberts and Javier Bardem, based on the memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert. A woman realizes how unhappy her marriage is, and that her life needs to go in a different direction. After a very painful divorce, she risks everything and embarks on a journey around the world that becomes a quest for self-discovery.
This film is rated PG-13 for brief strong language, some sexual references, and male rear nudity. Registration is not required. Water and light refreshments will be provided.
