The Washington County Free Library invites you to our Summer Film Series, "Memoirs On-Screen". Each week throughout the summer, we'll be showing a different film based on a popular memoir. Reading the book is encouraged, but not required!

This week's film is "Molly's Game", starring Jessica Chastain and Idris Elba, based on the memoir by Molly Bloom. After a catastrophic injury robs her of a promising sports career and an Olympic medal, former competitive skier Molly Bloom moves to L.A. to start fresh. Once there, however, she finds an unexpected profession--running an exclusive high-stakes poker game for celebrities and wealthy elite. But when her empire becomes an FBI target, Molly must rely on attorney Charlie Jaffey to clear her name. 

This film is rated R for language, drug content, and some violence. Registration is not required. Water and light refreshments will be provided.
