The Washington County Free Library invites you to the Fletcher Film Series, where each month, we show you films based around a different theme.

April's theme is "April Fools!" Do you love to laugh? April is National Humor Month, so come join us for some hilarious comedies!

Note: The film series is intended for older teens and adults. Children under the age of 17 should be accompanied by an adult.

Our next film is the 1974 Mel Brooks classic, "Young Frankenstein". Dr. Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced "Frahn-ken-shteen"!) insists on having nothing to do with his grandfather, the infamous Dr. Victor Frankenstein - until he inherits the ancestral castle in Transylvania. There, he discovers Victor's secret lab and personal journals, and becomes inspired to pick up where his grandfather left off. Now - with the help of his loyal hunchback servant Igor and lovely assistant Inga - all Frederick needs to fulfill his destiny is a fresh cadaver, a fine brain, and a mighty bolt of lightning...

Starring: Gene Wilder, Peter Boyle, and Marty Feldman

Run Time: 1 hour and 46 minutes
