The Washington County Free Library invites you to our brand-new Fletcher Film Series! Each month's films will be based around a different theme. In honor of the new school year, September's theme is "Back To School", where we'll be showing some of your favorite high-school movies from the 80s and 90s. Come join us at the Fletcher branch for films, food, and nostalgia!

Note: The films in this series are intended for older teens and adults. Water and light refreshments will be served.

This week's film is "Clueless", the iconic 1995 comedy. Shallow, rich, and socially successful Cher is at the top of her Beverly Hills high school's pecking order. Seeing herself as a matchmaker, she first coaxes two teachers into dating each other. Emboldened by her success, she then gives a makeover to klutzy new student Tai. But when Cher's own love life struggles, she realizes that there's more to life than clothes and popularity in finding the boy of her dreams.

Starring: Alicia Silverstone, Stacy Dash, Brittany Murphy, and Paul Rudd

Rated PG-13 for sex-related dialogue and some teen use of alcohol and drugs
