The Washington County Free Library invites you to our brand-new Fletcher Film Series! Each month's films will be based around a different theme. In honor of the new school year, September's theme is "Back To School", where we'll be showing some of your favorite high-school movies from the 80s and 90s. Come join us at the Fletcher branch for films, food, and nostalgia!

Note: The films in this series are intended for older teens and adults. Water and light refreshments will be served.

This week's film is "10 Things I Hate About You", the 1999 teen comedy. In this modern retelling of Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew", new kid Cameron is head over heels for popular sophomore Bianca. However, Bianca's overprotective father forbids her to date unless her older, ill-tempered, rebellious sister Kat dates also. Desperate to win Bianca over, Cameron enlists the help of sullen senior Patrick -- another rebel who may just be able to win Kat's heart.

Starring: Julia Stiles, Heath Ledger, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Larisa Oleynik

Rated PG-13 for crude sex-related humor and dialogue, and alcohol- and drug-related scenes involving teens
