Program Description

Event Details

The Washington County Free Library invites you to the Fletcher Film Series, where each month, we show you films based around a different theme. January's theme is "Let It Snow". Brrrrrr! It's cold outside! Stop in the library and stay warm as you enjoy these winter movies!

Note: The film series is intended for older teens and adults. Children under the age of 17 should be accompanied by an adult.

The second film in our January series is director Bong Joon-ho's dystopian epic, "Snowpiercer". The year is 2031. The entire world is frozen and uninhabitable. The only survivors live aboard the Snowpiercer, a train driven by a perpetual motion engine that circles the globe. For 17 years, they have created their own economy and class system. But now, the lower-class citizens living in squalor at the back of the train are determined to fight their way to the front and spread the wealth. The revolution has begun.

Starring: Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, and Ed Harris

Run Time: 2 hours and 6 minutes

Rated R for violence, language, and drug content
