Program Description

Event Details

Washington County Free Library welcomes you to the Fletcher Film Series. Each month, we bring you films based around a central theme. March is "She Persisted" in honor of Women's History Month.

Note: The film series is intended for older teens and adults. Children under the age of 17 should be accompanied by an adult.

No registration required. Water and light refreshments will be served.

Our second film this month is Patty Jenkins' 2017 epic "Wonder Woman". Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot who tells her about the massive conflict that's raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time - and fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.

Starring: Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, and Robin Wright

Run Time: 2 hours and 21 minutes

Rated PG-13 for sequences of action and violence, and some suggestive content
