Washington County Free Library welcomes you to the Fletcher Film Series. Each month, we bring you films based around a central theme. September is "íBienvenido!", in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Note: The film series is intended for older teens and adults. Children under the age of 17 should be accompanied by an adult. 

No registration required. Water and light refreshments will be served.


Our second film this month is the 2019 Guatemalan supernatural thriller "La Llorona". An aging paranoid war criminal, protected by his faithful wife, faces death and also a reckoning from the very real ghosts of the past. 

Note: This film is in Spanish with English subtitles. 

Starring: Maria Mercedes Coroy, Juan Diaz, and Maria Telon

Run Time: 1 hour and 37 minutes

Rated: Not rated, but contains brief scenes of genocide violence and gore and some frightening moments
