Celebrate something silly with Swaneet! Each month we'll find two silly ways to celebrate, with snacks, poems, games, crafts, and more. 

June 6: National Donut Day & author birthday: Rick Riordan 

Celebrate ice cream month and summer in general with easy to make homemade ice cream!  We will make vanilla flavored ice cream and cover it in toppings of your choice!

The library is hosting game night.  Board games are available.  Ages 12 and up please. Registering will give us an idea of how many people to prep for.  Bring your favorite board game.

Discover the art of making paper. We will use recycled materials to make new paper, get your hands into the process, and have fun! The paper needs to dry,  pick up is on Day 2 on July 17. 

Come to a short orientation to familiarize yourself with the expectations, potential jobs, and benefits of our VolunTeen program.  Then you will be all set to earn SSL hours!

Prepare to be amazed by mindblowing magic tricks with TimCo magic! A Summer Reading Club special event. Please sign up online.

Bring your Pokémon cards to trade with others in our community room and socialize while you build your deck.  This is for ages 6-17.  Intermediary provided to ensure fair trades.  Parental supervision required for 10 and under.

The theme for Summer Reading Club 2025 is "Color Our World!" Interested in the History of Color? Come learn about the early theories of color and the creations of pigments spanning thousands of years!

Want to brush up on your language skills, but need speaking practice? Look no further! This informal group for speakers of both English and Spanish is the perfect opportunity to learn in a fun, no-pressure environment. Come chat with us!

Stanley Stottlemeyer is a BISFA art student who is sharing his talent.  He will teach the children to make beautiful magnetic butterflies.
