Event Details

The Washington County Free Library invites you to the Fletcher Film Series, where each month's films are based around a different theme. November's theme is "Wild Wild West", so grab your cowboy hats, saddle up your horses, and enjoy our selection of classic and contemporary Westerns!

Note: The film series is intended for older teens and adults. Child under the age of 17 should be accompanied by an adult.

This week's film is the 1992 Academy Award winner "Unforgiven", directed by and starring Clint Eastwood. When a prostitute is disfigured by a pair of cowboys in Big Whiskey, Wyoming, her fellow brothel workers post a reward for their murder. Retired gunslinger Bill Munny reluctantly takes the job - bringing him into direct conflict with the sheriff, who doesn't allow vigilantism in his town.

Starring: Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman, and Richard Harris

Rated R for violence, strong language, and a scene of sexuality

Run Time: 2 hours and 10 minutes
