The Washington County Free Library invites you to the Fletcher Film Series, where each month's films are based around a different theme. November's theme is "Wild Wild West", so grab your cowboy hats, saddle up your horses, and enjoy our selection of classic and contemporary Westerns!

Note: The film series is intended for older teens and adults. Child under the age of 17 should be accompanied by an adult.


This week's film is the 1993 action blockbuster "Tombstone". Wyatt Earp and his brothers have left their gunslinger ways behind them to settle down and start a business in the town of Tombstone, Arizona. While they aren't looking for trouble, trouble soon finds them when they become targets of the ruthless Cowboy Gang. Together with Wyatt's best friend Doc Holliday, the brothers pick up their guns once more to restore order to a lawless land.

Starring: Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer, Sam Elliott, and Bill Paxton

Rated R for strong bloody violence, language, drug/alcohol use, and some sexual content
