Event Details

Washington County Free Library welcomes you to the return of the Fletcher Film Series. Each month, we bring you films based around a central theme. December is "Once Upon a Time", where life is a fairy tale, and everyone (usually) lives happily ever after.

Note: The film series is intended for older teens and adults. Children under the age of 17 should be accompanied by an adult.

Our second film in the series is the 1986 fantasy "Labyrinth". When 16-year-old Sarah accidentally wishes for the goblins to take away her baby brother Toby, she is sucked into a magical world surrounded by a labyrinth, ruled by Jareth, the Goblin King. Will Sarah be able to navigate the labyrinth in time to save Toby?

Starring: David Bowie, Jennifer Connelly, and Toby Froud

Run Time: 1 hour and 41 minutes

Rated PG for mild violence and intense scenes, all involving puppets
