Washington County Free Library welcomes you to the Fletcher Film Series. Each month, we bring you films based around a central theme. To kick off the new year, we'll be going "Back in Time" with these time travel films.

Note: The film series is intended for older teens and adults. Children under the age of 17 should be accompanied by an adult. 

No registration required. Water and popcorn will be served.

Our first film this month is the 1985 sci-fi classic "Back to the Future". Small-town California teen Marty McFly  is thrown back into the 1950s when an experiment by his eccentric scientist friend Doc Brown goes awry. Traveling through time in a modified DeLorean car, Marty encounters young versions of his parents, and must make sure that they fall in love or he'll cease to exist -- all while trying to return to his own time to save the life of Doc Brown.

Starring: Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Lea Thompson

Rated PG; contains language and mild sexual references
