For adults interested in learning the basics of the English language, join tutor Sonya M. from the Literacy Council of Washington County for six weeks of language learning. From October 15th through November 19th, class will happen on Wednesday afternoons from 11:30-12:30.
These classes are intended for adults learning English as their second or other language. The beginner class will work through fundamentals of word pronunciation and recognition, simple conversation skills, and other basic reading/writing needs.
In partnership with the library, this six-week class is an opportunity to connect with other learners in a community setting. To learn more about the council and their work, visit https://www.literacyofwcmd.org.
