Pawpaws! Learn about the native pawpaw tree, what the fruit looks like, how it tastes alone and in a recipe or two, where it grows locally, and a little history.  

Adults are welcome to stop by between 11:00-12:30 PM to learn how to use Naloxone (Narcan) and learn what situations to use it, this service is provided by staff of the Washington County Health Department.

Appalachian Save a Life Day is a day to bring awareness and resources to Appalachian communities coping with opioid addiction.

Lindsay Ridenour from the Washington County Health Department will distribute Narcan, show how to use it, and explain what situations to use it in. She will also answer questions and provide other resources.
