Children ages 4 and older, come build with LEGO. A new LEGO building idea every month. Materials must stay at the library. No registration necessary.

We’re celebrating National Puzzle Day (January 29th) a week early with an escape room, jigsaw puzzles, puzzle activities, and more. For kids of all ages and their parents in the Fletcher Library Children's Department. 

Every third Tuesday we will explore different aspects of STEAM.

Adults: Talks with Tea. Relax and socialize with a cup of tea. 

Come join us for a fun Storytime with rhymes, songs, and a craft.

NEW! A weekly hangout and advisory board for 9 through 12 year olds. We will eat snacks, play games, make crafts, and talk about what fun things we should do at the library. No registration necessary. Be there or be square!

Winter is here! That time when just touching a doorknob can send a jolt through your fingers! Come and learn about the science behind this phenomenon, and build your own Electroscope to measure static electricity!  

Are you unable to attend the morning storytime, then this evening storytime is a great alternative. Join us for books, music,  and educational activities. 

Second and Fourth Thursdays in January. 

Join us for our Family Story Night for children of all ages. We'll have a special visit from a snowman who likes warms hugs, read winter stories, and make clay snowmen.  

Each month, students in grades K-5 will participate in a different STEM activity.

February: Build a simple machine with Rig-A-Ma-Jig's

Join Miss Alyssa for a fun Themed Family Storytime with stories and songs.

Join us in the children's room for books, songs, flannelgraph stories and more.  This story time is for all ages.  No registration required.

Children and families meet us for a fun story time and tour of the Trackside Kitchen.  Please meet us at the restaurant.  Please register online or call to register.

Want to know the "tooth" about dental hygiene? Come learn all about keeping your mouth healthy with friends from Hagerstown Smiles Dental Care. This class is for home schoolers in grades 1 through 8. Registration required.

Join us for some hands-on fun as we try some Lego Challenges and discover what we can make.

Join us for a craft time just for tweens. Too old for story time, not ready for our teen programs, this event is just for you! (Age 8-12 years)   Registration is preferred.  All supplies will be provided.
