In honor of Youth Art Month, the Children’s Department will be sponsoring a Design a Bookmark Contest for children ages 5-12.  Official entry blanks and rules will be available at all branches, and here on the calendar as an attachment. 

Toddler Time (SMI)

Toddlers aged 18 - 36 months and their caregivers will enjoy books, songs, flannel stories and rhymes with a librarian.

Event Details:

We will meet at Antietam Battlefield where Ranger Christina Stanczak will briefly discuss the battle and tour the new visitors center.  You can also stay and watch the 1/2 hr. film about the battlefield at 4PM.  Free event.
