Day Calendar

In honor of Youth Art Month, the Children’s Department will be sponsoring a Design a Bookmark Contest for children ages 5-12.  Official entry blanks and rules will be available at all branches, and here on the calendar as an attachment. 

March "comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb," but in between, there's WIND! Making March the perfect month for flying kites. With this kit, you'll be able to create your own kite that flies!  

With this kit, you can create a beautiful windchime! We'll start you out, but you can make these windchimes your own creation by adding other recycled objects. 

Nikola Tesla will be the great scientists we study in March.  Stop by the library to pick up a static electricity kit.  While supplies last.
