Storytellers Renee Emanuel (Harriet Tubman) and Fanny Crawford (her great-grandfather, T. H. Barnes, who escaped enslavement in Hagerstown, circa 1835) will be wandering the library in character and costume, answering questions and telling stories in honor of Black History Month. Both ladies are members of the MD Griots' Circle, National Association of Black Storytellers. Tea and cookies will be available. All are welcome! Snowdate is February 11 at 2 PM.
