Celebrate Summer Reading Club 2025 with a BIG 'tiny art' project and exhibition for artists of all ages!
How do you participate? It's easy!
Pick up a tiny canvas from your branch library between July 5 and July 31 (available while supplies last; one canvas per artist).
Get creative! You can use paint, markers, stickers, or whatever else you'd like to create a totally unique mini masterpiece! Just be sure to write your name and branch library legibly on the back/inside frame of the artwork.
Fill out the Mini Masterpiece form with information about the artist and artwork. Then, return your mini masterpiece and the form to your branch library by August 1 to be included in the art exhibits!
All of the mini masterpieces will be premiered together in one place with a reception Sunday, August 17 from 2-4 PM at the Fletcher Library in Hagerstown! Smaller exhibits will be displayed in the branch libraries throughout the county for the rest of the summer.
Following the exhibits, artists will be invited to pick up their artwork from their branch library if they'd like to keep it.
