Maybe you've been told that you are descended from royalty or a famous person.  Or that one of your ancestors was a war hero, or lived an extraordinary life filled with adventure.  But how much of that family lore is true and how much is exaggeration?  In this presentation, professional genealogist Susan Fabian, will show how to break those family stories into their individual parts and evaluate each one for accuracy including which records can help discern fact from fiction.  Several examples of how this method helped tell the truth behind family lore will be presented.  Please register for this event.
