The summer's halfway through! Take some time to relax with art, and come make your very own "world" out of cardboard. Ages 3 to 12. No registration necessary. 

The library is hosting game night.  Board games are available.  Ages 12 and up please. Registering will give us an idea of how many people to prep for.  Bring your favorite board game.

Artist David Buckley Good will be demonstrating traditional oil painting techniques while creating a landscape on canvas.  David Buckley Good is a graduate of the Schuler School of Fine Arts in Baltimore and served on their faculty from 1999-

Want to brush up on your language skills, but need speaking practice? Look no further! This informal group for speakers of both English and Spanish is the perfect opportunity to learn in a fun, no-pressure environment. Come chat with us!

Artist Janie Moltrup will lead this all-day watercolor class which will contain a demonstration piece, basic drawing techniques, and creating a watercolor project.  Please bring a lunch.

Join us for a fun and relaxing DIY Lip Balm Night at the Smithsburg library! Learn how to make your own all-natural lip balm using simple ingredients, and take home a few custom creations.

Who doesn't enjoy some chocolate?  Learn how to make double chocolate chip cookies -- chocolate chips in chocolate cookies! Yum!

Help us color our cardboard buildings and trees. Once completed, the town will be assembled, displayed, and posted on Facebook.  

Teens, come enjoy water color activities that will Color Our World. Sign up online.

Bring your Pokémon cards to trade with others in our community room and socialize while you build your deck.  This is for ages 6-17.  Intermediary provided to ensure fair trades.  Parental supervision required for 10 and under.
