The Children's Department is collecting valentines for participants in the Meals on Wheels program until February 4, 2026. We are asking you to help make the day a little brighter for those who are feeling isolated at home.

McCauley Lecture: George Washington's Connections to Our County: Legends, Lore, and Alliances
George Washington slept here, travelled through here, and corresponded with Fort Frederick and with local citizens who were prominent in the Revolutionary War. He also scouted out Williamsport as a location for the new nation's capital.
