Day Calendar

Pick up a kit at the library branch of your choice during the week of April 20 - 24 to make a quill pen and ink, and learn about The Constitution, and the tools that were used to write it! For kids ages 6 to 12. Registration required.

Create a portable and adorable tic-tac-toe set!

Make your own spoon-and-egg maraca!  

Stop by the Smithsburg Library and pick up a craft kit to build a Rabbit at a Fence.  Everything is provided except the glue.  While supplies last.

Teens and adults, stop by the library to pick up your kit to make watercolor art.  Draw a design on the watercolor paper with a white crayon and then use the watercolors to enhance your drawing.  Everything except the water is provided.

Take or share your gently used or unwanted craft supplies and materials. Swap includes all crafty materials, open, gently used items are welcome. Take something or leave something. No need to bring something to participate.

Celebrate 250 years of women in the arts with Bookmobile’s Take and Make craft series. We’re kicking off with a found poetry kit inspired by the United States' first woman Poet Laureate, Louise Bogan.
