Event Details

Paleontology is the study of ancient life on Earth as based on fossils of plants and animals.

In this program, Mrs. Bono from Washington County Public Schools will lead a multi-day "Science in the Library" program about paleontology.

Due to weather concerns, this program has been changed to a 1 day event on Thursday, July 1 from 3:00 to 4:30, and there are still openings, so come join us!

The program is designed for students entering grades 2 through 6.

*Important note #1: In order to participate, the parent/guardian of each participant must complete, sign, and return the liability form attached to this webpage (see below).

**Important note #2: During this program, participants will "excavate" a chocolate chip cookie.  Please note if a participant has any concerns about food allergies.

This program is part of our 2021 Summer Reading Club, "Tails and Tales."

Registration is required.
