Event Details
Children entering grades 2-6 are welcome to join the Washington County libraries to explore the MAGICAL world of oceans. They will "dive in" and participate in fun, hands-on science activities and lessons dealing with salinity and water density, ocean layers and some ocean creatures. We will be immersed in the ocean environments and all the curious topics about the underwater world. Sign up online, or call the Hancock Branch Library at 301-678-5300 for this two day program. A signed liability form must be received before the beginning time of the first day of the program. You may pick a form up at the Hancock library, or please arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill one out. The class will start at the scheduled time - students that arrive late or don't have a liability form filled out before the beginning of the class will be unable to participate.
