Event Details
Come to our new film discussion program! We'll be discussing a different film each month, how they got made, and what makes them historically or culturally significant.
This month, we will be discussing the 1964 dark comedy, "Dr. Strangelove, Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb". We will talk about the film's origins and filming, Stanley Kubrick as a director, its satirizing of nuclear planning during the Cold War, and how it remains a relevant piece of cinema today.
Attendees are asked to view the film prior to the program. The film is available for checkout through the Washington County Free Library.
