Living History at the Library proudly presents. "I Am Not Content: an Hour with Frances Perkins".  Frances Perkins was the Secretary of Labor under FDR and the founder of Social Security.  She was responsible for implementing decent wages, humane working hours, safe working conditions, abolishment of child labor, plus much more! Please join us on Friday, September 12 from 1-2:30 PM in the Community Room when actress Kathie Mack retells the life of Frances Perkins in a one-woman play by Steve LaRoque, who will introduce the program.  Seats are limited so please register today!
