For adults interested in learning the basics of the English language, join tutor Sonya M. from the Literacy Council of Washington County for seven weeks of language learning.

These classes are intended for adults learning English as their second language. The beginner class will work through fundamentals of word pronunciation and recognition, simple conversation skills, and other basic reading/writing needs. 

In partnership with the library, this seven-week class is an opportunity connect with tutors and other learners in a community setting. To learn more about the council and their work, visit https://www.literacyofwcmd.org.
