Presented by the Sharpsburg Historical Society, Sharpsburg Library and Stephanie Gray from Antietam Battlefield.

The public library in Sharpsburg was organized in 1902 as a branch of the Washington County Free Library and has functioned continuously except for short periods when a change of location was necessary.  Many prominent Sharpsburg residents were involved in the establishment and running of the library. 

Vernell Doyle from the Sharpsburg Historical Society and Stephanie Gray from Antietam Battlefield will also talk about the libraries the Historical Society and Battlefield maintains.
