Letterboxing is a growing hobby that combines elements of treasure hunting and creative expression. It's an activity that the whole family can enjoy. Participants seek out hidden letterboxes by following clues posted on the internet and then record their discovery in their personal journal with the help of a rubber stamp that's part of the letterbox. In addition, letterboxers have their own personal stamps which they use to stamp into the letterbox's log book.
This one hour fun workshop will get you started with letterboxing basics. You will learn options for creating your personal stamp and logbook, how to access the clues for letterboxes in any location and how to record your finds on the letterboxing community website. You will have the chance to hunt for some spring-themed letterboxes and collect your first stamps!
Please bring a favorite rubber stamp if you have one and an ink pad. (Stamps and ink will be provided for those who don't have them.)
