Program Description

Event Details

Guest computer expert Kirk DeVore will educate seniors about common scams targeting them, emphasize the importance of
verifying the identity of callers or email senders before sharing any personal information, encourage seniors to be cautious of unsolicited requests for personal or financial information, teach seniors how to safely navigate the internet, and discuss the need for caution when receiving phone calls from unknown numbers. This free program is open to everyone, but is of particular interest to older patrons who may be new to computers or need a refresher.
