DNA tests are becoming more popular.  Whether you want to find out your ethnicity, explore your family connections or find your biological family, DNA is the key to your search.  But now that you've got your results what do you do with them?  This course will help you navigate the Ancestry.com DNA section of the website.  We'll discuss the very basics of genetics to help you understand your results then move on to the fun part: finding matches, sorting them into family groups and figuring out your connections.  We'll also discuss how to contact those matches.  Though our main focus will be on the Ancestry.com DNA test, we'll also discuss other popular test sites (23 and me, MyHeritage, FamilyTree and GEDmatch).  This class will be in lecture format but participants are encouraged to bring their laptops so they can follow along with their own DNA test results.  Sign up online or call to sign up.
