Event Details

Afterschool Universe is a 10-week interactive astronomy program designed to take middle school students on a journey through the universe beyond the solar system.

Today's session will focus on an astronomer's primary tool for studying the universe: light.  We'll build a telescope and learn how it collects light and also learn about invisible light waves that scientists use in their studies.
