Event Details

Afterschool Universe is a 10-week interactive astronomy program designed to take middle school students (ages 9-13) on a journey through the universe beyond the solar system.

We are familiar with elements on earth (oxygen, hydrogen, carbon, nitrogen, etc.), but what elements can be found out in space?  We'll take a "sample" of the elements in the universe and discuss how it connects to our life here on earth.
