Event Details

Afterschool Universe is a 10-week interactive astronomy program designed to take middle school students (ages 9-13) on a journey through the universe beyond the solar system.

Astronomers use patterns of light, seen through an instrument called a spectroscope, to help them understand what makes up the objects in the universe.  We'll build our own spectroscope and connect what we learn with our knowledge from Session 4 about the wavelengths of light.
