Combined Community Room 308/309 is a Public Meeting Room. There is a fee for using this room, $20 for up to 4 hours for Non-Profit Groups and $100 for For-Profit Groups. $30 for 4-8 hours for Non-Profit Groups and $200 for For-Profit Groups. No meeting room fee will be charged to exempt groups defined in the Hagerstown Meeting Room Guidelines policy.
Equipment
Combined Community Room 308/309 includes two 70” flat screen wall mounted TVs. HDMI connections to the TVs are provided in the small cabinets in the room. A podium with mounted microphone and/or wireless microphone is available. A mounted projector and screen is also available with a Windows computer. Any PowerPoint presentations must be on a thumb drive. Access to the kitchenette is available for this room which includes a sink, mini refrigerator and microwave. Due to staffing, the kitchenette is NOT available for use on Saturdays. Food served in the room must be kept in the room.
Seating
Default seating for this room is a banquet style which includes 20 round tables and 120 chairs (6 chairs per table comfortably). If you choose a room setup layout when making your reservation, the library will handle the set up and tear down of the furniture; if you choose to set the room up yourself, you will need to return all tables and chairs to the default banquet setting before leaving. 10 rectangle tables are also available for this room.
