This McCauley lecture will focus on the creation, mission, and ongoing work of the Washington County Historical Society. 

Speaker Andy Stout is the Executive Director of the Washington County Historical Society. Mr. Stout is a native of Greencastle, PA with more than 30 years of experience in cultural resources, heritage management and preservation. In addition to having published more than 50 articles, Mr. Stout is responsible for overseeing the permanent conservation of some of America’s most significant archaeological sites. Mr. Stout will discuss some of his previous work and will provide a summary of Washington County prehistory and history and the important work of the Washington County Historical Society.
