Ancestry.com is one of the premier genealogy websites on the internet. There are so many great features for researching and building your family tree, but all those features mean it can be confusing to navigate around it successfully for those new to the site. In this class you'll learn the basics of setting up a family tree, using the 'leaf' hints, doing searches to find records and attaching them to your tree. We'll explore the features of both the paid and free versions of the website. As time permits, we will touch on the affiliate Ancestry sites (Fold3, Newspapers.com and Find-a-Grave). This class will be in lecture format but participants are encouraged to bring their laptops so they can follow along in their own trees. Sign up online or call to sign up.
