Event Details

Nearly every person in the United States had ancestors that came from somewhere else.  Whether it was immigration from long ago or more recent times, records exist that can help determine where they came from, the reasons they came, and how and why many immigrants traveled west and settled our country.  In this presentation, professional genealogist Susan Fabian, will discuss the 'push-pull' phenomenon of immigration and migration, records that exist for these immigrants, and hints in current research that can help determine where your ancestors came and where they ended up.  Several case studies will be presented.  Please register.
