Toddlers aged 18 - 36 months and their caregivers will enjoy books, songs, flannel stories and rhymes with a librarian.

Join us for a series of art exploration workshops as we “color our world.”  For children ages 3-8 and their caregivers on Thursday mornings at 11:00 AM. Pre-registration is requested.  

Join us for a special social emotional storytime at 11:00 AM presented with the Hospice of Washington County Bereavement Department.  For children ages 3 and up and a caregiver.

Slither into fun at our snake-themed Saturday story time! Enjoy snake-filled stories and then help us create a colorful rock snake by painting your very own rock to add to the display. It's a hiss-terically good time for kids of all ages!

Stanley Stottlemeyer is a BISFA art student who is sharing his talent.  He will teach the children to make beautiful magnetic butterflies.

The theme for Summer Reading Club 2025 is "Color Our World!" Interested in the History of Color? Come learn about the early theories of color and the creations of pigments spanning thousands of years!

Colors of the Sea: Experience the sea through the colors of the rainbow! From the ocean floor to the peaks of the waves and all the colors in between.  Come experiment and craft the sea with us this summer!  For grades entering 3 - 6.

Where does vanilla come from?  Join us, and you will find out! Make a small jar of vanilla to take home.

Build a big sculpture, a little sculpture, a colorful sculpture--the only rules are your imagination! Ages 4+. No registration required. 

 Let your imagination run wild as you tinker, experiment and create using up-cycled items and art supplies at our pop-up maker space.

Have fun learning about colors through stories and activities. Let's Color our World! 

For ages 3-7

Join us to learn about artists that changed the world, their lives and achievements.  Each session will include hands on activities.  For the month of July we will be learning about artist, Alma Thomas.  For ages 6 - 12.

Want to brush up on your language skills, but need speaking practice? Look no further! This informal group for speakers of both English and Spanish is the perfect opportunity to learn in a fun, no-pressure environment. Come chat with us!

Are you unable to attend the morning storytime, then this evening storytime is a great alternative. Join us for books, music,  and educational activities.
