2025 Washington County Free Library Announces Annual Writers and Poets Contest 

The Children's Department is collecting valentines for participants in the Meals on Wheels program until February 5, 2025.  We are asking you to help make the day a little brighter for those who are feeling isolated at home.

"Build" your own snowman with a sponge and white paint! (No actual snow required.)  This craft is for pre-K and below. Note: Each child should be registered separately. 

Create a simple and beautiful winter luminary to enjoy on these long winter nights.

This kit is for grades K through adult. One kit per registration. If you need additional kits, please register each person separately.

The Smithsburg Branch is collecting Valentines for participants in the Meals on Wheels program.  Supplies will be available or bring in a Valentine from home!
