Reuben Moss will present "An Era Of Central Maryland Trolleys." This multimedia presentation is a tour through the history of the local trolley network. Mr. Moss uses maps, photographs and film clips to explore the reasons that trolleys first came to our region, how and why the railway grew, what made our trolley system unique, and some of the ways in which the Hagerstown & Frederick Railway trolleys continue to affect communities, even six decades after trolley service ended.

Pursuing this passion since childhood, Reuben has been actively involved with preserving and presenting the history of the Hagerstown & Frederick Railway since 2013. He has been involved with many museums and organizations in the region. Currently, Reuben is the President and Curator of the Hagerstown & Frederick Railway Historical Society and a member of the Board of Directors of the National Road Heritage Foundation. Representing both organizations, he was responsible for overseeing the development and installation of many new exhibits and artifacts at the Boonsboro Trolley Station Museum earlier this year.
