Nearly all genealogists have used US census records in their family research. But if you are only looking at names and ages, you are missing a wealth of information available. In this presentation by Susan Fabian, we'll learn about census records from 1790 to 1950, which questions were asked and what those answers revealed about our ancestors such as birth dates, marriage, occupation, immigration, naturalization, military service, physical health, and more. We'll discuss how to use that info as clues to further research. We'll also review federal mortality, agricultural, and veterans schedules, and learn about state census records.
