Here’s the challenge: Can you make a lemon battery that lights up a LED bulb with pennies, several nails, kid friendly wires, an LED mini light and lemons (not inlcuded). Watch the video to see how to make this cool contraption and explore the science behind how it works! Sign up to receive a kit that contains the supplies. Watch the video on the library's Facebook @ WCFLKids or your local branch if you wish on the day of the event.
When registering for this event please indicate which library branch, you prefer to pick up your kit. You will be notified when your kit is ready for pickup.
All kits will be ready for pickup by the program date. Video tutorials will be posted to the Washington County Free Library’s Facebook the afternoon of the program event. Each kit will also contain a printed instruction sheet with directions on finding the video tutorials.
